Morphettville Racecourse is South Australia's premier horse racing venue, hosting the Adelaide Cup and a regular program of high-quality metropolitan racing. The track has two configurations — the Morphettville course and the Parks course — which have different characteristics.

Always check which configuration is being used — Morphettville or Parks. Horses that have performed well on the main Morphettville course do not always transfer that form to the Parks course. Check the track condition, as Morphettville can become quite soft during South Australia's winter.
